1. SURFACE PREP
The DIY Path Maker Mold can be placed on any relatively flat surface. For the best results, remove one inch of topsoil and level the Path Maker before filling with concrete. The removed soil can be used to fill in the open spaces between concrete after your walkway has been made
2. Mixing the Concrete
Mix the concrete until a plastic-like consistency is reached. Add small amounts of water until you reach the desired consistency.
Use a bucket to fill each mold so that it is level with the surface of the mold. While concrete is still in the mold, pat and smooth the cavity surface. Remove mold promptly. Smooth out all edges once the mold is removed.
Concrete should be damp-cured for 5-7 days for the greatest strength. To outline the blocks, fill-in separations with sand or soil mix after concrete has cured. Place dry Sand Mix in cracks and sweep in to desired level. Let sand or soil mix harden to finish the project.
